AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING, LLC. LIMITED WARRANTY

By selecting a warranty option, you will automatically qualify for a 15% discount on all supply orders for the life of the warranty. Discounts do not apply to systems, printers or printing services, discounts only intended for supplies (inks,paper,refill kits)

The limited warranty set forth below is given by American Cake Imaging L.L.C. (“ AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING”) with respect to the AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING printer (“Product”) only, packaged with this limited warranty. AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING is not affiliated with Canon. This warranty does not apply to supplies (ink cartrdges, cleaning products or paper).

The Product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of two (2) years from the date of the original purchased delivered to you in new condition. Warranty repair or replacement shall not extend the original warranty period of the Product.

This limited warranty covers all defects encountered in normal use of the Product and does not apply in the following cases:

(a) Loss of or damage to the Product due to abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration, accident, electrical current fluctuations, improper use, failure to follow operating or maintenance instructions set forth by AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING. Without limiting the foregoing, dropping the Product, scratches, and abrasions will be presumed to have resulted from misuse, abuse or failure to operate the Products as set forth in users’ instructions.

(b) Use of parts, media, software or supplies (other than those sold by AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING) including refilling of ink cartridges, that cause damage to the Product or cause abnormally frequent service calls or service problems.

(c) If the Product has had its serial number or dating defaced, altered or removed.

Instant Replacement Service** is offered by AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING and has no affiliation with Canon.

A AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING Customer service representative will attempt to diagnose the nature of the problem, and if possible, correct it over the telephone. If the problem cannot be corrected over the telephone, and you elect the InstantReplacement option, a reference number will be issued to you. You will be asked for the Product serial number and other information pertaining to your product and for a ship-to location for the replacement Product (must include street address).

The AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING facility will ship out the replacement Product prepaid by AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING. After receipt of the replacement Product follow the enclosed instructions on how to ship your product to AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING. Your Product must be returned in the shipping carton in which the replacement Product was packed and include reference number. MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR PRINTHEAD.

Instant Replacement Service exchanges your Product with a replacement Product, which AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING will make every effort to ship the replacement part or machine within 24 hours of technicians determination of problem, except holidays. AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING does not guarantee same day shipment in the event of the occurrence of factors beyond its reasonable control. NOTE THAT BY USING THIS SERVICE YOU WILL KEEP THE REPLACEMENT PRODUCT THAT IS SENT TO YOU. AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING WILL RETAIN THE PRODUCT THAT YOU ORIGINALLY PURCHASED, WHICH SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF AMERICAN CAKE IMAGING.

This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
